Evangelism

Evangelism is the God-given task of proclaiming the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again so that sinners might be forgiven and given new life through faith in Him. Scripture makes it clear that this is not just for pastors or missionaries, but for all believers: Jesus commands His followers to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19–20) and to be His witnesses “to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Evangelism means lovingly sharing the gospel with words, backed up by a Christlike life, inviting others to repent, believe, and follow Jesus. It is an act of obedience, love for God, and compassion for people who need to hear the only message that saves.
